Rowan Patterson is a graduate of the Royal College of Music, with over 20 years' experience as a professional performer and teacher.

Now based in Somerset, she works across South West England as a freelance musician in a wide variety of settings, from the full ranks of Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra to initiatives in schools, care homes and hospitals. She can often be found accompanying choirs and choral societies, or providing a touch of class for special occasions and celebrations.

Rowan frequently collaborates with pianist Jonathan Delbridge.

Rowan is the upper strings tutor at Richard Huish College, Taunton.
